“A SIMPLE GIFT”: Fund Raising Concert for the Topeka Rescue Mission    A fundraising concert for the Topeka Rescue Mission, Inc. will be held Thursday November 30th, 2006 at the University Theatre, Washburn University Campus at 7 pm.
    The concert will open with well known and loved local folk singer Lee Wright.  He will be singing several original songs, including “December Moon” by Alice Eberhart-Wright, his wife.  It is featured in a book/CD recently released as a fundraiser.  The book, “The Simple Gifts of Christmas” highlights stories told by friends of the Wrights.  
     The final attraction will be the phenomenal vocalist Anthony DeLallo, from St. Mary’s, KS.  This gifted singer will perform Christmas songs from his latest release “The Gift of Christmas”.  He will also be singing an Irish song from his first CD titled “A Wee Bit O’ Ireland”, as well as two songs from his upcoming Irish CD.   The new CD will feature 12 original songs about Ireland, co-written by local artist Cally Krallman and Randy Wills of Exceptions Studio.
    Admission is a Free Will donation.  Seating is limited.  COME EARLY!
    All three products, the book and the 2 CD’s will be sold at the event.  Profits will go to the Rescue Mission of Topeka.  Prairie Sage Studio will be sponsoring the event.
