Dear Members, friends and visitors of the UUFT,

This month's Beacon has an error in the date of Kathleen Baughman's
Ordination.  That Ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 19th at 2:00
p.m.  Children are welcome.

It is a unique and wonderful priveledge to sponsor a fellow UU through
ministerial studies and experiences and then to hold the Ordination
Ceremony that sends that person forth as a fully prepared minister in her
own right.  I hope, even if you do not know Kathy personally, that you
will consider joining with other UU's in our Fellowship to affirm and
celebrate this wonderful accomplishment and event.

Kathy had many leadership roles and teaching experiences here in our
Fellowship in the 80's & 90's, including being our Board president the
first time we visited the issues of capital campaign and building on to
the Fellowship.  She left us in 2001 to study at United Theological
Seminary (UTS).  She graduated in 2005 with a Masters of Divinity.  Her
calling turned out to be in the field of Chaplaincy.  She interned for a
year at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and then took a position at the Mayo
Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, where she remains today.  Although she is
affiliated with the UU Chruch in Paradise Valley, AZ, she still considers
UUFT her home and thus she is coming home for our Blessings to be bestowed
upon her as she moves into a fully Fellowshiped UU Ministry.  Please join
us at this special event.
