Pastoral Care
A Community Ready to Help
For all of us there can come times when we need the active support of our community. The goal of Pastoral Care is to aid and support UUFT members and friends. Assistance is coordinated and provided by volunteers from the UUFT community. Pastoral Care has provided such things as:
- meals while recovering from a medical isssue
- rides to UUFT or to medical appointments
- refreshments for memorial services or weddings
- cards, phone calls and visits while in the hospital or at other times of special need
- other assistance, cheering up or nurturing
