Sunday Services
Sunday Services begin at 10:30 am at 4775 SW 21st Street in Topeka, KS. We are currently without a minister, and our programs are lay-led. We endeavor to present a variety of inspiring topics that illustrate or relate to our Eight Principles and our UU Values.
Children and Youth will begin the morning in Scanland Hall with the adults. After the Time for All Ages, the children and youth will be excused to go to age-appropriate activities. Some Sunday programs are multigenerational, and for these the children and youth will remain in Scanland Hall with the adults.
We are grateful for the contributions of our Sunday morning AV Team: Jake Starr and Valerie Eakes Kann.
Our October theme is Courage.

The Capital City Peace Project is just one of those organizations. Annie and Courtland will be sharing this important work with us.

October 18, 2026: Braving the Treacherous Waters of the Far North

(Well, maybe not so far…and not so treacherous): UUFT members who experienced for the first time the joy and fellowship of a week at the UU central region’s family summer camp, UNISTAR on Star Island in Cass Lake, Minnesota, this summer will share their fun and joy with us. There will also be some long time UNISTAR campers to let you know how long UUFT families have been making the trek to this island paradise.

October 25, 2026: Gaza, Grief, and Genocide

The horrific news coming out of Gaza for the last three years has been hard to process. Using the five stages of grief as a model, the program will discuss how we to process the horror of genocide to come to a place of action and resolve.
